Matt Flora is currently the Vice President, Value Payment Strategy at Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Matt joined ABCBS in 2005 as a statistical analyst and later moved to lead the Enterprise Business Intelligence division, where his team developed new provider reimbursement analytics to support value-based compensation. This work strengthened relationships with Arkansas providers to support expansion of value-based payment models across the state. His focus now is developing strategies to align provider compensation with high quality and cost effective care delivery through both fee-for-service and value-based care design. Matt earned a master’s degree in statistics from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. He is a native Arkansan who grew up in Springdale. Matt and his wife Emily live in Little Rock.
