Sam Yamoah is Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer at Cambia Health Solutions, where he leads enterprise strategy, innovation, corporate development, and trend management. He works across the organization to align business leaders around initiatives that improve affordability, strengthen competitive positioning, and drive sustainable growth across the enterprise.

Prior to Cambia, Sam was an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company, where he advised Fortune 100 payers, health systems, and public sector organizations on strategy, growth, and large-scale performance transformation, including leading one of the firm’s largest payer turnarounds. Earlier in his career, he held product development and technology leadership roles at McKesson Corporation.

Sam earned an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he was a Trustee Merit Scholar, and a bachelor’s degree from Luther College. Originally from Ghana and Liberia, he is deeply committed to improving health outcomes and expanding opportunity in underserved communities. He serves on the boards of the Boys & Girls Club of Portland and the Cambia Health Foundation. He co-founded a non-profit organization that distributes books to schools, libraries, and other learning centers in Ghana.
