James B. (Brandon) Griffin serves as Vice President of Pharmacy, Quality & Value Programs at Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield, where he leads enterprise-wide pharmacy strategy across both retail and medical pharmacy. His portfolio includes oversight of key quality programs supporting government lines of business, the organization’s URAC-aligned Quality Improvement Program, primary care innovation initiatives, and the digital systems that connect providers with eligibility, benefits, claims, and utilization management functions.

Since joining Arkansas Blue Cross in 2006, Brandon has held influential leadership roles across Commercial and Medicare pharmacy operations. His work spans oversight of the FEP Medication Therapy Management and quality and member experience initiatives, PBM governance, clinical program development, CMS compliance, and regulatory reporting for Medicare Advantage, ACA Marketplace, Medicaid Expansion, and FEP plans. In 2022, he spearheaded the redevelopment of the company’s health plan quality improvement framework supporting the company’s URAC accreditations.

Brandon holds a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Ouachita Baptist University. He is an active member of the Arkansas Pharmacist Association, the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy, and serves on the URAC Health Standards Committee.
Outside of work, Brandon and his family run a small homestead, enjoy exploring Arkansas’s natural spaces, and serve as active foster parents.
