Alissa Lay has enjoyed numerous roles at Vanguard within its Retail and Institutional Divisions. These roles include supervising contractor support and book of business management sessions with Vanguard’s high net worth clients. In her current role, as Retirement Education Specialist, she combines her two passions, learning and educating, to help those she counsels with their various financial goals.

To better provide financial planning assistance to her clientele, Alissa recently pursued and earned her Certified Financial Planner designation to accompany her Series 6, Series 63 and Series 7 Licenses.

Prior to joining Vanguard, Alissa worked with City Year, a non-profit organization, where she was able to serve and give back to her community. She is still deeply involved with City Year Greater Philadelphia, where she now serves as a member of their alumni board.

Alissa obtained her Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from The Pennsylvania State University.
