Aaron Novotny, Ph.D., director of Health Economics, is a full-time health economist, providing health outcome analytics at individual and population levels. Currently, he leads a team tasked with cost/benefit analysis regarding member-level health interventions, understanding participation patterns, discerning when interventions are appropriate, and evaluating intervention modalities and utilization effects. He is a fabulous storyteller of data.
Additionally, Aaron serves as a faculty member with the Fay Boozman College of Public Health faculty at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He also teaches at the University of Arkansas Walton College of Business.
His wife and two children have supported him on his education and career. He coaches his daughter’s youth soccer team and plays video games with his son. He enjoys biking, basketball, cooking, sports analytics and reading current events.
