Stephanie Floyd

Stephanie is currently director of inclusion and chief diversity officer.  In this role, she oversees the overall management of diversity, equity, and inclusion programs and initiatives across the organization.  This includes facilitating cross-company learning, standard methodology, and resource sharing.  In addition, she helps leaders understand the benefits a diverse and inclusive workplace provides and how this can be achieved within their teams.

As Director of Membership Administration, Stephanie led the Blue Advantage Regular Business and Blue Advantage National Accounts Membership teams. Stephanie started at ABCBS in 1989 as a Claims Examiner in Special and National Accounts. She has held roles in Customer Service, Utilization Review, Training & Staff Development and Enterprise Learning & Development. She managed the Individual Customer Accounts and Membership division. She has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and MBA in Leadership Studies from Baker College in Flint MI.

Stephanie served on several work groups to help facilitate the transition of our print/mail services for Membership Services to Zelis and HMDS. She serves on the Blue Cross Association’s Blues Alliance for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and chairs our internal InBLUEsion Steering Committee. Stephanie has led several projects with Enterprise-wide impact, including automating our tuition reimbursement program, InterPlan Programs training required by the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, membership open enrollment, training initiatives, and our InBLUEsion initiative.

Stephanie has been married to her husband Freddie for 42 years. They live in Benton and have a daughter who is married with two teenage sons. Stephanie describes her grandsons as joy incarnate. She is very active in her church and enjoys reading, bowling, coaching, and developing others to bring out their best.
